By accessing or using the AFW website, purchasing products or services, or engaging with AFW in any capacity, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree, you must not use AFW services or website.

1. Definitions

  • “AFW”, “we”, “us”, or “our” refers to Aqua Flame Wellness.

  • “Customer”, “you”, or “your” refers to the person or entity accessing AFW services or purchasing products.

  • “Products” means physical items sold by AFW, including saunas and chillers.

  • “Services” includes wellness consultations, installation services, and any other services provided by AFW.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By using the AFW website or purchasing products/services, you acknowledge that you:

  • Have read, understood, and agree to these Terms

  • Are at least 18 years old or have parental/guardian consent

  • Agree to comply with applicable Australian laws

3. Orders and Payment

  1. All orders are subject to availability and acceptance by AFW.

  2. Prices are in AUD and include GST.

  3. Payment must be made via the available methods at checkout.

  4. AFW reserves the right to refuse or cancel orders at any time.

4. Shipping and Delivery

  1. AFW will provide estimated delivery times but does not guarantee delivery dates.

  2. Risk passes to you on delivery. AFW is not responsible for delays caused by third-party carriers.

  3. You are responsible for providing accurate shipping information.

5. Warranty

5.1 Manufacturer Warranty

AFW products come with a manufacturer’s warranty:

  • Sauna Control Panel: 1 year from date of purchase

  • Sauna Stove/Heater: 1 year from date of purchase

  • Chiller/Ice Bath Components: 1 year from date of purchase

5.2 Scope of Warranty

This warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship under normal use. It does not cover:

  • Damage caused by misuse, abuse, or improper installation

  • Damage from natural disasters, power surges, or accidental damage

  • Normal wear and tear

5.3 Making a Warranty Claim

To make a warranty claim, you must:

  • Provide proof of purchase (receipt or invoice)

  • Notify AFW within the warranty period

  • Follow AFW’s instructions for return or repair

5.4 Remedies

Subject to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), AFW will, at its discretion:

  • Repair or replace the defective item

  • Refund the purchase price if repair or replacement is not reasonable

5.5 Limitations

  • AFW excludes all other warranties to the extent permitted by law.

  • Your statutory rights under the ACL are not affected.

6. Installation & Safety

  1. Electrical Requirements

Certain AFW products, including saunas, require dedicated 15-amp power points. Installation must be performed by a qualified/licensed electrician in accordance with Australian electrical standards.

  1. Customer Guidance

If you are unsure whether a qualified electrician is required, please contact AFW before installation for guidance.

  1. Limitation of Liability

AFW is not responsible or liable for:

    • Injury, property damage, or loss caused by improper installation or use

    • Costs associated with installation if not performed by a qualified professional

    • Any electrical work that is not compliant with Australian Standards

  1. Warranty Conditions

Warranty coverage for electrical components may be void if the sauna is installed incorrectly or by an unlicensed individual.

7. Health & Safety Disclaimer

  1. Medical Advice

The use of AFW products, including saunas and ice baths, may carry health risks. AFW products are not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

You should seek advice from a qualified healthcare provider before using any AFW product if you:

    • Have pre-existing medical conditions (e.g., heart disease, respiratory issues, high blood pressure, pregnancy)

    • Are taking prescription medication

    • Are unsure whether sauna or cold therapy is safe for you

By using AFW products, you acknowledge that you are using them at your own risk. AFW is not responsible or liable for any adverse health effects, injury, or complications resulting from product use.

  1. Wellness and Recovery Statements

Any statements made by AFW, including on the website, social media, or marketing materials, regarding the benefits of saunas, ice baths, or other products (e.g., recovery, circulation, relaxation, stress reduction) are for general wellness purposes only.

These statements do not constitute medical advice, treatment, or diagnosis. AFW products are not a substitute for professional healthcare.

9. Care & Maintenance

  1. Proper Use

To ensure safety, longevity, and warranty compliance, AFW products must be used in accordance with the product instructions and intended purposes. Misuse may void warranty.

  1. Sauna Maintenance

    • Keep the sauna clean and dry when not in use.

    • Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners on wood surfaces.

    • Check electrical components regularly and report any faults immediately.

    • Do not modify the sauna structure or electrical system.

  2. Chiller/Ice Bath Maintenance

    • Keep the unit clean and free of debris.

    • Follow manufacturer’s instructions for water treatment and temperature settings.

    • Do not tamper with or modify electrical components.

  3. Inspection and Repairs

    • Only qualified professionals should perform repairs or maintenance on electrical or structural components.

    • Regular inspections are recommended to ensure safe operation.

  4. Warranty Conditions

Failure to follow care and maintenance instructions may result in voiding of warranty.

10. Returns, Refunds, and Cancellations

  1. Returns and refunds are governed by Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

  2. You may be entitled to a replacement, refund, or repair if a product is faulty, not fit for purpose, or does not match the description.

  3. Non-faulty items may be returned at AFW’s discretion; shipping costs and restocking fees for returns may apply.

  4. Custom or personalised products may not be eligible for returns unless faulty.

11. Limitation of Liability

  1. AFW provides products and services “as is” to the extent permitted by law.

  2. AFW is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses.
